Madison Brake is a writer and illustrator currently based in Florida. Her illustration specializes in animal and fantasy imagery and she often works with traditional mediums mixed with a bit of digital. She is interested in book covers, animal pieces, and background designs and has previously worked on children's books.

Her writing draws inspiration from fairy tales, the fantastic, man's relationship with nature, and fear. Her short stories have appeared in The Blackwater Review and Chomp. She has an MFA in Creative Writing at the University of  Central Florida.
