-Rabbit/Hare skulls are notoriously "greasy" and prone to remaining distinctly yellow unless really thorough whitened with peroxide (images here are desaturated).

-Rabbit skulls tend to have a strange, lacy quality around the muzzle and back of the head which I haven't seen in other species.
